Meet Dr. Mastroianni

dr ea mastroianniA native of New York State, Dr. Ernest Mastroianni has been practicing dentistry in Kent for 57 years, following his graduation from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 1960. He interned at St. Luke’s hospital, and then started his practice in 1961 when Kent State University had just 5,000 students. Those first patients are now grandparents, and he is honored to have served several KSU presidents as patients.

“I have a passion for dentistry; it is what I was meant to do. Everyday it’s a joy for me to come to the office. Through the years I’ve grown and evolved my dental education and want to pass my knowledge and hindsight to someone to carry on what I’ve done.” – Dr. Ernest Mastroianni

Dr. Mastroianni is nearing the end of his career, but is not ready to retire yet. That’s why he is excited to welcome a new associate, Dr. Laura Martin Miller, to the practice.

Dr. Miller graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and is also an alumnus of Case Western Reserve University. She finished in the top four of her dental class at CWRU. Please learn more about Dr. Miller by reading her biography.

Dr. Mastroianni was elected as a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

He is a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, and lives in Kent with his family.

We are excited to welcome your family to our practice.
